Posted on January 3, 2019

The two-time World TeamTennis champion Orange County Breakers will return to Palisades Tennis Club for the 2019 WTT season next July.

“We are very excited to be back and playing at Palisades in 2019,” said Breakers owner Eric Davidson. “Palisades has been a great venue for both our players and fans over the years.”

Coach Rick Leach will return for his sixth straight season with the Breakers and his 18th overall WTT season (8th as coach). Leach has been honored twice with WTT’s coach of the year honors in 2015 and 2017.

The Breakers last lifted the King Trophy as WTT Champions in 2017 and will look to return as champions during the 2019 season. The 2019 season will kick off July 14 and will run through August 4. The Breakers will host seven home matches at Palisades Tennis Club during the three-week season, with the exact schedule dates to be released in March.

Season ticket renewals are currently underway with season tickets to go on sale to the general public on Friday, January 18. The Breakers will assemble their 2019 roster at the WTT draft, which will take place March 12th in Indian Wells, Calif., at the BNP Paribas Open.
